Rosa Twelve stands on the site of the legendary Italia, and before that the 1961 Lugano coffee bar – two places that shaped Low Fell. We're still here, warmer and bigger, and just as committed to a good time. Read our story.

Rosa Twelve is a multi-level hospitality venue: three distinct but connected experiences under one roof. Coffee and cocktails on the ground floor, Mediterranean dining on the first, and intimate events below in The Lugano.
Ground Floor
The Welcome Lounge Café & Wine Bar
A destination in its own right, not just an entrance.
A relaxed café and wine bar with a well-stocked bespoke bar and a sun-trap patio spilling onto Durham Road. Come for speciality coffee and a slice of cake, linger over a glass of wine or a cocktail, or settle in for an informal meeting. You are welcome for drinks without dining, and it is the easiest step-free way into the venue.

Rosa Twelve Restaurant
Up the handcrafted oak staircase, the view opens up.
Modern décor, warm lighting and stunning picture windows over the rolling hills of the Team Valley. Perfect for celebrations, special occasions and a memorable dinner. The whole first floor can be privately hired for larger parties.

The Lugano at Rosa Twelve
Low lighting. Low ceilings. Absolutely no pretension.
Named after the 1961 coffee bar that started it all, The Lugano is our most intimate space: a characterful cellar bar hidden beneath the restaurant. It is home of the Rosa Twelve Supper Club and a growing events programme of live music, DJs and seasonal nights, as well as a private space for birthdays, celebrations and business gatherings.
